We have a Diocesan 'Community Care Group' under the umbrella of the Board for Church and Society, whose objective is to support clergy and parishes in understanding the needs of a full range of disabled people, the elderly and their carers.
The group respond to individual queries and have organised a number of training days on different aspects of care.

Over the past few years, run training days have been held on Mental Health issues, supporting Carers and working with Residential Care Homes.
