Environment Discussion Group

A group of 25 took part in an inspiring workshop in Harpenden in October 2008, hearing about the challenges of sustainable living and setting targets for action within the Diocese

One of the agreed actions was to create a forum where we could discuss the Environment from a Christian perspective. As a result, we have set up a Google discussion group on the internet for the St Albans Diocese.
Anyone can apply to join the discussion group. Put your e- mail address in the box below or click on the link below.

We hope that the discussion will cover a wide range of topics, including church environmental audits and any individual parish initiatives to raise awareness of environmental matters among the congregation and wider community.

Our Diocesan Environment Officer, Martin King, would particularly like Parish Environment Officers to join the group. It can then be used to exchange ideas and progress as well as keeping him informed of your contact details. If you have problems joining the group on the internet, or would like more information, you can contact Ken Ebbage at kenebbage@hotmail.com or call 01582 834360.
