Loving God, Living Green - Environment Day
Our Diocesan Environment Day was held last year on Saturday 25th September '10 - at St Mary's Church, Welwyn.
The aim of the day was to help people realise the possibilities of getting more positive 'green' action happening in our diocese. We had a time of worship, three workshop sessions, and plenty of time during the day to chat and look around our market-place of ideas. The market-place included churches that had already made a real change and they were on hand and happy to share their experiences of how they did this. People were also there from Shrinking the Footprint and Eco-congregation, Church Farm, Fairtrade and the Climate Justice Fund (and many, many more), all were eager to help delegates find what they were looking for to take the next steps of theirjourney with God in caring for His creation.
