Now is the time to get on the starting blocks!
Working with More Than Gold, St Albans Diocese is encouraging churches of every denomination to begin to plan for 2012 by:
- Appointing a Gold Champion - to be a channel for information and to help create opportunities. Register at www.morethangold.org.uk.
- More Than Gold have now planned a UK-wide tour called 'Get Set' during the first few months of this year - being held on Saturdays between 10.30am - 4.30pm to help equip your church to 'be its' very best for the 2012 Games and beyond'. Your church will get new ideas, strategies, skills and resources and it is open to everybody involved with:
- Children & Youth
- Community Engagement and Outreach
- Evangelism and follow up
- Leadership and prayer
The two dates and locations of this tour likely to be of greatest interest are:
Central London - 10th March
Stevenage - 21st April
