From Vision to Reality: Developing your project and making it happen

A workshop for St Albans Diocese parishes

Saturday 11 January, 2020 – 9.40 to 16.00 at St Lawrence Church, High Street, Abbots Langley WD5 0AS.

Whether it’s repairs, new facilities or spaces, or other changes to your church building, this day workshop will take you from having the right goal and project to finding the resources to deliver it.

The morning will focus on developing a vision with strong and healthy roots and the right, achievable project and be illustrated by case studies from local churches.

The first part of the afternoon will focus on fundraising – different sources of funding, campaigns and making your case – followed by two more case studies. The final part will cover the help and support the Diocesan staff can offer.

Three of the speakers have a national role with two responsible for the Diocese of Hereford’s Crossing the Threshold guide to managing church projects.
