Elections to Deanery Synods
The calculation of the No. of Representatives per Parish to their Deanery Synod is agreed by the Diocesan Synod for each triennium. For the triennium from July 2020 (delayed to December, due to the pandemic) to June 2023 this calculation is based on the ER numbers for 2019 and is as follows:
|No. of names certified on the 2019 parish electoral roll||No. of representatives|
|Less than 35||1|
|35 and not more than 99||2|
|100 and not more than 199||3|
|200 and not more than 299||4|
|300 and not more than 449||5|
|450 and not more than 599||6|
|600 and over||7|
Deanery Synod representatives for the current triennium were elected at the 2020 APCMs. Parishes with casual vacancies may fill these by electing further representatives at their next APCM.
A full list of the number of Deanery Synod reps for each parish for this triennium can be viewed here.
