The Diocese seeks an exceptional individual to assist the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser in all safeguarding matters including the development of policy, good practice and training.  Applicants will be professionally qualified and experienced in the practice of safeguarding, able to demonstrate professional independence and sympathetic to the ethos of the Church of England.

Part-time post : 17.5 hpw
Salary in the range £28,880-£34,482 pro rata plus generous non-contributory pension.

This post with the Diocesan Board of Education and the Schools Team is an exciting opportunity to commence a career in diocesan educational management and leadership, working with 136 church schools across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. It would suit a high-calibre candidate with good interpersonal and organisational skills who has the ability to learn quickly.

Salary: starting at £23,594, plus generous non-contributory pension.

35 hpw, based in St Albans, with occasional travel across the Diocese.

The University of Hertfordshire Chaplaincy is looking for an Assistant Chaplain to support the pastoral and spiritual care of students and staff, with a specific responsibility for our de Havilland Campus.

Working as part of a multi faith team you will offer faith based pastoral support to staff and students, arrange for worship, study and fellowship, and take an active part in inter faith dialogue. You will be based in a new dedicated multi faith space (due to open in September 2017) on the de Havilland Campus and will oversee the use of that space, including use by student faith societies. The de Havilland Multi Faith Space will complement the work of The Key, an established multi faith centre on our College Lane Campus.
