Energy Footprint Tool – Technical Assistance Webinar (April 2022)
28th April @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
In order to reduce energy usage, it is important that we understand how and where our energy is being used in the first place. Parishes in the Diocese of St Albans can submit energy information for their buildings (such as churches and halls) using the Energy Footprint section of the Diocesan Portal as a first step in understanding their annual energy footprint. This webinar will focus on the figures for 2021.
This webinar will help you to complete the Energy Footprint section of the Portal by taking you through the process and giving you the opportunity to ask questions to members of the DAC and Mission and Ministry teams so that you are able to submit your energy usage information with confidence.
To help you get the most from the webinar, we suggest you:
- Take a look at the Energy Footprint page of the website, particularly the User Guide so you can think of any questions or issues before the webinar [please note that a step-by-step video guide is being prepared and will be added to this website page shortly]
- Have your church – or other building, such as hall/office – energy bills from 2021 to hand
- Find out some rough estimates about who uses the building(s)
If you have any questions you’d like to ask in advance, please forward them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will be input from:
Kate Peacock, Deputy Director of Mission and Ministry
Emma Critchley, Pastoral and Advisory Secretary
Joanna Chandler-Clarke, Pastoral and Advisory Officer
This webinar will also be run on 23rd May. For more details, see the Eventbrite page.
