Intergenerational Church: A Conversation with David Csinos

18th July @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

This is a unique opportunity in our Diocese to explore how your church can better develop as an intergenerational faith community, and grow more effectively as the Body of Christ.

Christ Church & St. John’s in Radlett will be hosting internationally renowned speaker David Csinos on the evening of Thursday 18 July. David is at the leading edge of intergenerational Christian formation, spirituality and church growth; writing widely about faith formation, children’s and youth ministry and culture, he helped to develop an understanding of ‘Spiritual Styles’.

The purpose of the evening is to equip you and your church on your own intergenerational journey, through exploring principles, practice and theology. As well as unpacking what is meant by the term ‘intergenerational’ and why this culture is deeply valuable for church communities to adopt, there will also be opportunity for dialogue with David, group discussion and space to share your own experience and thoughts.

The evening will be particularly helpful for both ordained and lay ministers and children’s and youth leaders, paid and voluntary. If you are not in these positions, then you are still very welcome, but would be advised to bring along one of the key leaders in your church. The event will start at 6.30pm with a light buffet, and tickets cost £8 (clergy and Readers in St Albans Diocese can use their training allowance). Because of the nature of the event, we anticipate high demand and recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
