Parishes can join local efforts and model more sustainable ways of buying food and supporting local farmers, for example by:
- Buying as much as you can locally
- Starting a directory of local food sources such as Farmers’ Markets, Farm Shops, Dairies
- Persuading your local supermarket to stock more locally sourced food
