Faith

Faith as a Christian is living in a relationship of love and trust with God, believing he knows us completely and wants and desires the best for us (Jeremiah chapter 29).

Central to the message of the Christian faith is that Jesus died for us and he rose from death to overcome sin.  We then begin to understand the extent of God’s love for us and seek to deepen our relationship with him, both an individual relationship and one with other believers in his church.

With faith, we view life as a gift from God and hold perspectives that:

• All people are equal and are valuable to Him,
• The world was created through his workmanship and belongs to Him; we are temporary stewards of it’s incredible diversity and beauty.
