Our Looking
Things seen about our local community
- Had a survey of parishioners, to which the response was good, and we learned that:
- A very high proportion of parishioners attend the church (10%), and a high proportion are drawn from beyond parish (75%).
- There are no other public buildings in the parish.
Three things we have seen about our church
- People very much loved and valued their pretty country church.
- There was a widespread interest in 'newer' forms of service, although also a great love of the presently used BCP and AV.
- A lavatory would be an enormous help.
Our Discerning
Vision (for five years' time)
A church that is centred upon Sundayt worship in the BCP / AV tradition, though with some variations and newer forms of service, and a church more widely used by the community.
Priorities (for the next five years)
- Engage withlocal community.
- Build a lavatory.
- Try occasional modern forms of worship.
Goals (for the next year)
- Build a lavatory.
- Have occasional modern forms of worship.
- Host some community activities.
