Things seen about our local community

• A large suburban commuter village.
• A resource for other villages: shops, garage, create through traffic / new by-pass.
• Good facilities to share with other communities: two churches Anglican & Baptist, CE Lower School. A number of activities and clubs with a lack of volunteers to run them.

Vision (for five years' time)

To continue to be a joyful, prayerful and caring church closely in touch with the parish and making use of the new facilities and sharing them with the community, engaging and developing relationships with the village to transform community and make new disciples. To develop new initiatives using the building and to provide accommodation for families and other social groups.

Priorities (for the next five years)

• Complete the new extension and start using it.
• To develop lay leadership, recruit volunteers and discern talents to offer in God's service.
• To focus on mission and outreach to the community especially to families and children.

Goals (for the next year)

• Complete the fundraising for the extension and finish the building.
• Get the church's finances on a stable footing.
• Increase the number of new people in church, with special emphasis on children and young people.
• To improve the appearance of the graveyard.
