Our Discerning

Vision (for five years' time)

We will be a church which: Is growing in Christian discipleship and ministry through our worship, increasing opportunities for learning and praying together, with a commitment to stewardship. Offers a welcoming and caring environment for all ages. Services the wider community through our pastoral care and range of well-communicated services and social activities.

Priorities (for the next five years)

  • Developing our healing ministry and opportunities for learning together as Christian disciples.
  • Improving the church building and use of facilities so that we offer an environment where all ages feel they belong.
  • Expanding our outerach, pastoral care and providing more social activities.

Goals (for the next year)

  • Produce leaflets to help regulars and visitors understand the services and advertise healing ministry & church events.
  • Review home groups and research demand/opportunities for further learning and retreats.
  • Explore greater social events, as well as expansion of baptism follow up and deepening links between church & school.
  • Set an annual budget and explore improvements to the building.
  • Expand pastoral care, especially to the bereaved.
