Things seen about our local community
- Caring for others in times of need, support for charities in the village, within the UK and overseas.
- Support from the village for building the Garden of Remembrance.
- Friendly village.
Our Discerning
Vision (for five years' time)
A focal point for the community, a friendly outward looking church, with a larger congregation, intergenerational with more families.
Priorities (for the next five years)
- A welcoming Friendly Church.
- Explore further links with the community, eg. Rogation.
- Growth of congregation and more inclusivity of services.
Goals (for the next year)
- Encourage families and children, building on Messy Church attendance.
- Spiritual growth of the congregation.
- Improve the financial situation of the church and consider the best ways of doing this.
- Increase the congregation numerically.
