Things seen about our local community

• The parish has no shops and no school.
• There are a number of small houses in the parish and people tend not to stay very long in these.
• Sunday morning is very busy - children's activities, shopping etc. Some residents go outside the village to worship.

Three things we have seen about our church

• Our Church has a very small congregation.
• We find it difficult to encourage the rest of the village to get involved in the Church.
• We worry that we might be the last generation to use this Church.

Vision (for five years' time)

As a happy friendly Church, which is used by the community, hopefully growing towards God and deeper in faith.

Priorities (for the next five years)

• To reach out to the whole community.
• To involve more of the community in regular worship and prayer.
• To use our Church and develop services that are relevant in this rapidly changing world.

Goals (for the next year)

• Promote and grow the 'Sunday Afternoon' service.
• Improve communication between the Church and village.
• To organise an event that links Church and village.
• Finish the equipping of the children's area in the base of the bell tower.
• Have the Church open at weekends.
