• Many people in our parish / 'catchment area' are asset rich and time poor.
• There is both a lack of and a longing for real community.
• Concentration of artistic / cultural / musical networks and also young families.

Three things we have seen about our church

• The importance of our city-centre location is shaping our ministry.
• The unusually high numbers of visitors, newcomers and occasional offices that we receive - vital importance of welcome.
• The complex make up of our church - 4 Sunday congregations and other stakeholders - need to look at how we build community.

A church for the city - welcoming all, celebrating life, sharing the journey.

Goals (for the next year)

• Youth and children’s work review and development of ‘continuous pathway’.
• Baptism and wedding families invitation events and follow up. Build up ministerial capacity to focus on young families work.
• Develop welcome facilities/resources for mid-week visitors and ‘pilgrims’.
• Enhance/develop role of the choirs in St Peter’s mission and extension/consolidation of musical base.
• Develop Communications strategy and renew website
