Rooms in your homes

Some people have expressed an interest in housing refugees in their own homes.  This offer needs to be given some thought and planning, and followed through with a reputable agency. Housing refugees could be for longer than you originally expect. Housing someone from a different country with limited language skill could also be harder than you first expect, but please do not let this discourage a genuine offer.  Register your interest with ‘Positive Action in Housing‘.

Fostering

Some people may want to offer to foster young people, without parents, caught up in this crisis. At the present time fostering of unaccompanied children is not supported through these schemes, but anyone interested in doing so is directed to the usual Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire Fostering Services.
