The Christine Canti Fund
The Christine Canti Project Fund was established with a donation from a past Chair of the Board for Social Responsibility and its purpose is “to assist in the general work of the St Albans Board for Social Responsibility”.
The criteria which the Trustees will use in considering applications are:
- Made for specific activities of the Board as a whole or to individual members of the Board or to any individual working with the Board’s approval in an area within the Board’s responsibility, including officers performing functions in a voluntary capacity and members of any working or advisory group reporting through the Board
- For the education or personal development of the Board or the approved individual in an area that is directly related to the work of the Board; grants may cover course or seminar fees and travel and other approved out-of-pocket expenses
- Grants should normally be no greater than £300 each and as a guideline, major grants should not exceed the greater of £500 and 10% of the moneys in the Fund at the previous year-end
- Grants should generally be one-off and multi-year commitments should be exceptional
