Your successful, engaging and fun ideas
Local church fundraising comes in all shapes and sizes. It can be time-consuming but is a great way of connecting and working with your community and raising awareness and enthusiasm.
We have asked for your examples of local fundraising to inspire others.
- What is the most successful way you have raised funding locally?
- What type of fundraising has best involved the local community and brought it closer to the church?
- What is your most fun or inventive way of fundraising?
You have already told us about ‘old-school’ jumble sales, three-legged races, a village or neighbourhood fair with profits split between the church building and community causes, ‘Beer, Bubbles and Bingo’ evenings and children’s teddies abseiling from the church tower (for a reasonable charge).
We will be adding more of your fantastic ideas here.
