Please note that the fees for 2023 have been reduced from March, following agreement at the February session of the General Synod that this year’s increase should be capped at 5%.

Payment

Parochial Fees are regulated by Ecclesiastical Law. Details of the Fees payable can be found on the Church of England’s website at:

Further information is available in the Annual Stipends Letter (please note that the stipends for assistant curates/lay ministers and the resettlement and first appointment grants for April 2023 onwards have now been confirmed and this letter has been amended to reflect these changes).
