Lent Day 13 – ‘I must proclaim’

Wednesday 15th March 2017

Luke 4 : 42 – 43

At daybreak he departed and went into a deserted place. And the crowds were looking for him; and when they reached him, they wanted to prevent him from leaving them. But he said to them, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose”.

  1. It is so true, we are in danger of keeping the Good News to ourselves within our church community. Help us Lord to bear witness to you and share your love in the world.

  3. Praying for our churches and communities is so important whatever age we are!
I persoally don’t live in the parish that I worship in so see my community where I live a place where I can share Gods love through a smile, a word or an action. Knowing our neighbours is unusual these days but even a ‘Good Morning’ and a smile is a good starting point!!! As we walk through the area we may be led to pray for the folk we see or homes where they live.An invite into your home for a cuppa???? Let us all show Gods love.
