Progress

What progress are you celebrating since your previous MAP?

From our previous MAP…
HOPE [Helping Older People Engage] group is now well established
We have regular Prayer Ministry available at Sunday services
Stay and Play [weekly on a Monday] is now well established creating good community relationships
The format of our All-Age services has evolved and its now one of our best-attended services
We have a clear Mission Partner scheme with regular updates and annual visits
Alongside our Monthly Community Café we do local litter-picking
We ran the SHAPE course in 2018 through Lent to encourage people to consider their Spiritual Gifts – partial success
We engaged with the Luton FRESH mission at Pentecost 2018 – car-washing was especially successful
Youth Drop-in [Mondays term-time] has built good relationships with Ashcroft School pupils and LA Youth-workers

How far did you meet your previous priorities?
(1 star = Not at all → 10 stars = Done)

7 stars

Where has there been less progress than hoped for?

Testimonies are infrequent in our services
We’ve had several good ‘sowing’ events but a pattern of ‘sowing and reaping’ has not emerged
We haven’t established a monthly evening praise service
We’ve had lots of conversations about ‘Open the Book’ but with nothing to show yet
We’ve improved our website but our communication strategy is still emerging
We’ve yet to revise our Homegroups
Although we’ve done various changes to our buildings a more comprehensive site development plan hasn’t emerged
