Progress

What progress are you celebrating since your previous MAP?

We have moved Messy church to a new location at Astral Park with the aim of increasing visibility of our ministry work. Prayer Ministry teams have been trained and prepared and will be commissioned in the coming weeks.

We also help a new Christmas event, Beer & Carols which was successful and we shall develop this eveent this year.

How far did you meet your previous priorities?
(1 star = Not at all → 10 stars = Done)

7 stars

Where has there been less progress than hoped for?

We not grown numerically as much as we would have liked. It feels like we are in a period of consolidation at the moment.

Vision

What is the vision for your Church, Parish, Team Ministry or Benefice?

As a Church we will be at the heart of the local community and enable, create and build the wider community.
As a Church we will be a welcoming, informal, family friendly space where you know you will be accepted and valued.
As a Church we will encourage each other to lead a God centred life, celebrating our spiritual journey together and equipping each other for everyday life.
As a Church we will share life and all that it throws at us, together for support, friendship and laughter

Values

What are the core values for your Church, Parish, Team Ministry or Benefice?

We believe in the Jesus of Hebrews 13 v 20.
“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”
We believe Jesus to be that good shepherd, working gifts within us that are pleasing in his sight. Guiding us and equipping us with everything we need to bring glory to him.
Our Vision Statement, and our Action Plan are driven by the picture of Jesus as the good shepherd we can rely on.
