Godparent services established in 2018 and 2019
Carols for Babies and Tots services held in 2018 and 2019
Family Pancake Party held in Mar 2019 and Feb 2020 and Toy Service in July 2019
Eco-Disciples led a Service of the Word on Bible Sunday 2019
Wild @ St Michael’s (for 6-12 year olds) monthly nature club on Saturdays, began Sept 2019
Baptism Team established and now leading Godparent services and other services
3 x Building Blocks of Faith course – 15 confirmations 2017-2019
Led ‘Carols in the Stable’ at the Wellington Pub in Dec 2019
Over 100 people visited our stall at the Families Festival
St Michael’s involved in the month-long Parish-wide ‘Creationtide Mission 2019’
Fewer children in Sunday School than 2 years ago (some weeks no children at all)
How to encourage integration of newly-confirmed adults? Though more ‘success’ recently than before
Healing services were put on hold in 2017 after poor take-up; healing ministry now exercised in different ways

1st Priority
TELL – To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
To publicize Church activities by putting up a series of four outside banners and/or electronic notice boards
2nd Priority
TEACH – To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
To bring together members of Wild @ St Michael’s, Junior Church, Borehamwood Air Cadets and others to put up an insect ‘bug hotel’ in the Church grounds
3rd Priority
TEND – To respond to human need by loving service
To make a new Church role for a ‘Foodbank Champion’, in order to increase our awareness of the work of Borehamwood Foodbank and our support for it
To support Knit and Natter in making knitted armbands and incubator covers for premature babies in local hospitals
4th Priority
TRANSFORM – To transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and pursue peace and reconciliation
To strengthen our prayer ministry of Intercession for God’s world, by training and adding at least 6 new people to our Sunday Intercessions Team by end 2020
5th Priority
TREASURE – To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth
To plant fruit trees in the Church grounds, by the end of 2020, thus increasing biodiversity, wildlife habitat, natural beauty and fruit
