Progress

What progress are you celebrating since your previous MAP?

St Mary’s Church is well known in Cheshunt as being a welcoming place which has good social events.
We continue to seek God’s will for the congregation and the parish.
New families have joined us and play an increasing role in the life of the Church.
The Cheshunt Team Ministry has forged closer bonds between the four Team churches and regularly joins together for Advent and Lent courses, as well as Cheshunt Team services on the 5th Sunday of the month.

How far did you meet your previous priorities?
(1 star = Not at all → 10 stars = Done)

6 stars

Where has there been less progress than hoped for?

We continue to have difficulty encouraging a wider variety of people to volunteer in the Church.
We need to offer opportunities for people who are seeking and exploring faith, and for those within the Church to deepen their faith through discipleship courses, home groups, and prayer.
