‘Come and see’ Vocations conference 7-9 May 2021 – online
Are you of BAME heritage, thinking and praying about whether God may be leading you towards ordained ministry? Come and be informed, resourced and supported on your vocational journey.
For the first time the Eastern Region is hosting a ME Vocations Conference supported by dioceses across the East of England for those of BAME heritage exploring ordained ministry. The original week-end event has been refocused into three sessions on Zoom – one on Friday evening, two on Saturday morning – but with all the original guest speakers still involved.
We believe this event will provide insight and inspiration to those who are discerning God’s call in their lives. The event will create a safe space where questions can be asked and the opportunity to talk to ordained BAME ministers and others on the discernment journey about the joys and the challenges involved.
The event is free and can be booked via Eventbrite here.
“Will you take His call?”
‘Will you take his call?’ is designed to help you to find out how the church can equip and train you to answer God’s call, whatever it might be.

It offers a range of lay and ordained speakers and an opportunity to discuss whether the new lay training courses on offer this year are for you. You will be able to talk to all the speakers individually and in small groups. KEYNOTE SPEAKER: The Rt Revd Dr Michael Beasley, Bishop of Hertford.
