Ordinations 2022

The ordination of Deacons will take place at St Albans Abbey on Saturday 2nd July at 4.00pm. You can find out more about those to be ordained Deacon here.


The ordination of Priests will take place across the Diocese on either Friday 1st July or Sunday 3rd July.  You can find out more about those to be ordained Priest here.


Will you take His call?’

A free event open to anyone in St Albans Diocese. It will help you to find out how the church can equip and train you to answer God’s call, whatever it might be.

Training for Lay ministry: OPEN FOR BOOKING

The Foundations for Ministry Course is for people seeking some training to teaching the Faith (Discipleship Enablers), provide pastoral and community care (Pastoral Enablers) and engage in mission and evangelism (Mission Enablers).  The Foundations for Ministry Course is currently taking bookings for September 2022.

Seeking the Way

Seeking the Way, a course for laypeople seeking to know better how and where to serve God and his Church.

The next course will run in early 2023.  Dates will be available in the Autumn.
