Extended Study Leave
Licensed clergy are able to take an Extended Study Leave every ten years providing that:
- They have been ordained for more than ten years
- They have been in their present post for at least three years
- They are not within five years of retirement
- and they have the pastoral agreement of their area Bishop and Archdeacon
The Deputy Director of Mission and Ministry will write on behalf of the Bishop to invite eligible clergy to take the Extended Study Leave.
