The ordination of Deacons will be on 28 June 2020 at 11.15am.
The ordination of Priests will be on 27 June 2020 at 4.00pm.
Both services will be held at St Albans Cathedral and both services will take about an hour and a half (please note this is an estimate and the services may be longer or shorter). Tickets are not needed for the general public, but ordinands will have some priority seating allocated to them for close family and friends. Seeking the Way, a course for laypeople seeking to know better how and where to serve God and his Church. The course will next happen in the Autumn of 2020 on Saturdays 03 October, 17 October and 07 November, 10.00am to 4.00pm at St Mark’s Church Hitchin, SG5 1PA. You do need to be able to come to all three sessions.

Step forward and consider ordained ministry in the Anglican church.
Step forward is a day for anyone aged 18 to 30 considering ordained ministry in the Church of England. There will be:
- Time for worship, prayer and Bible study
- An opportunity to find out what being ordained is really like – its highs and lows
- Space to look at your own experience and what God might be calling you to in the future
- The chance to discover how the selection process and ordination training programmes work
Step Forward is for anyone aged 18 to 30 who is wondering whether God might be calling them to ordained ministry in the Church of England. New dates will be announced.
You may have already taken some steps down this route – or you may never have thought about it until now! Either way, the day will help you think, talk and pray through this question.
