The Community Life Fund
The Community Life Fund is a designated fund which has been established by the Board of Education to promote creative and innovative approaches to worshipping, praying and living together as a Christian community.
The Community Life Fund will award small grants per school, totalling up to £20,000 per annum, in specific areas that will be reviewed on an annual basis. For the period April 2020 to March 2021, the grant award areas will be Worship, Welcome and Wellbeing, with a separate grant area covering applications (up to £1,000) for larger projects. You will find more information about the nature of the grants here.
The Fund is entering its second year, and the closing date for applications for Year 2 grants (spring term 2020 to March 2021) is Wednesday 6 May 2020.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome by Friday 22 May 2020.
The next opportunity to apply will be for Year 3 (April 2021 to March 2022). Applications will be invited from Monday 14 September 2020 with a closing date of Monday 3 May 2021.
Schools must agree, as part of the award, to evaluate impact and include this evaluation in their SIAMS SEF where appropriate.
We are excited at the potential that the Community Life Fund has to impact on schools’ ability to form and live out their local Christian vision for education.
