Safeguarding
Church of England Schools and Academies remain responsible for their own safeguarding policy and practice and should report safeguarding concerns to the relevant authorities in line with their adopted safeguarding policy. School leaders and governing bodies can contact the Diocesan Director of Education for informal advice, support or to receive advice from the diocesan press officer in managing media enquiries relating to serious safeguarding incidents.
