Affiliated Schools are non-church schools which work closely with their local parish church and share the Board of Education’s commitment to a values-based, community-focussed education that serves the common good. Affiliated schools have the ability to join the Board of Education’s Service Level Agreement and to attend courses run by the Schools Team. Schools considering becoming Church of England Academies or maintained schools often become affiliated schools in advance of taking on a religious designation.
