Youth Idea Workshop
What would you do to see more young people engaging with church and exploring faith in 2022?
What does living God’s love look like in your family, school, college or club?
If you have the idea, we want to help you with the planning and prayers to make it happen!
We want to support young people across the Diocese of St Albans who are called to reach out to their friends and peers and lead new missional projects in their communities and we would love to support you in making that happen.
Young people are innovative and passionate about sharing the life they have found in Jesus. Many are in positions of leadership and might have an idea for a project that could impact their community. We hope that the opportunity of workshops, grants and training will enable young people to harness their creativity and ideas to see more 11-18s exploring faith and engaging with church.
Workshop Sessions
Sessions designed to help young people get thinking about how they might lead a new youthwork project/group/event.
We’d love to help your young people think through how they might Live God’s Love in their community in courageous, imaginative, generous and joyful ways.
These sessions work for those with established youth provision but are looking to engage with more young people in the community, or for churches exploring how to begin forming age specific provision.

Workshop Grants
The Idea Workshop Grants support young people and youth groups to launch their ideas to lead new missional projects in their communities.
It could be an event, project, group, trip or something else. Young people can apply for a grant to help kick start projects that share the love of Jesus with their peers.
